June 1: Nancy Scott writes: Piper and I went to Flatirons Kennel Club today and Piper got her 2nd Advanced leg in Rally.  She got an 88.  The first station was an off-set figure 8, and we both had problems with it!! Cross your fingers for next week.  We are entered on Sunday at Colorado Springs KC show, so it would be nice to finish our Advanced title.  Nancy and Piper, finishing their RA with a 92! http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Hf2b3I7O4qw&feature=user
May 6: Nancy Culley writes:
Just back from Lubbock Texas, - we decided to jump Mr Norbu in the 26" division to try to see if we might get some MACH points- and he did really well- earning 35 pts for the weekend.  He Qualified in 5 of his 6 runs earning 3 - 1st place and 2 - 2nd place and also getting # 20 and #21 Double Q's.  Not bad for a days work.
He is in the top 5 and as of now we are planning on going to Long Beach one more time- if his placing holds up.  We only have 2 more trials before the cut off date.  So we'll see what happens and keep you informed.
Riker continues to be a complete screwball- if she does ever get serious she will be a real champ. We took Riker and Ro Laren to a FunRun Lure coursing a couple of weeks ago- both were impressive but Riker actually caught the bag :-)
May 3: Nancy Scott writes:
Piper went to an obedience/rally trial today.  She got her first Rally Advanced leg with a 94 and 2nd place.
First Quarter ABdFC Statistics shows Briarlea Life's a Breeze, Briarlea Ensign Ro Laren, Briarlea Common Virtue, Briarlea Mr. Norbu, Briarlea Abbey, Briarlea North Star Dixie and Briarlea Roxy v Bouvier Topline all in the rankings!
April 21: Reg Cobb writes: In the last several trials Nina has done quite well in the non regular classes so the last two trials I added regular classes.  She did quite well in Novice B. In her first three regular class trials she scored 191, 181, and 192.  She had two-first and one-second place finishes. She now has three novice legs which qualifies her for a CD title. We are pleased with her progress. My plans are to continue working in Novice and gradually move to the non regular open classes.  Be proud of Nina. She is the subject of much admiration where ever we go.
January 26: Lynn and Rocket finish their U.D. - the AKC Utility Obedience title.
January 25: Betsy and Stryker  got his last AXJ leg (first place) to finish that title and

January 4:  Lynn Beihl writes: Rocket qualified today in UA for his 2nd leg.  Had various minor issues, but  with just 3 of 15 qualifying he placed 2nd.  And we are very happy to  need just one more leg for our UD!
We are very happy!
